Bird Flu Sweeping Four Asian Countries

According to AP reports, bird flu (H5N1) is sweeping Indonesia, India, Tibet, and Bangladesh. Turkey has also confirmed the continued spread of bird-to-bird H5N1, while a suspected new human bird flu case in Pakistan awaits blood test results for confirmation. In other flu news, more than 10% of flu virus samples taken in Western Europe this winter have been resistant to oseltamivir (better known as Tamiflu).
