MRC GEM

MRC GEM is the Georgia East Metro Health District Medical Reserve Corps, Inc. We are a non-profit corporation serving the health and emergency preparedness needs of Georgia's Gwinnett, Newton, and Rockdale Counties. We work closely with local health departments, emergency managers, and homeland security. A part of the USA Freedom Corps, created by the President in response to the attacks of September 11, 2001, the MRC program is guided by the Office of the U.S. Surgeon General. We are always happy to have new volunteers join us - no prior medical experience or training is needed.
